The goal is to increase the voter turnout in Detroit. This is not a political party nor a campaign. This is an issue of awareness, responsibility, and our civic duty. Voting is key to a democracy. This is self-evident by the actions of January 6^th of this year. The election of the Biden/Harris team and the record turnout across the nation shows that voting is the key to democracy. Further the voter efforts in the state of Georgia shows that when people vote, their choices prevail. The efforts across this country, including within the state of Michigan, to prevent Black Americans from voting is living proof of the power of the vote. If the vote were not so important, others would not work so hard to prevent voting in the Black community.

This site will speak to local issues that will be directly affected by voting. This year, 2021, the citizens of Detroit elected a new mayor and city council. Too many problems and benefits exist for the people of Detroit to not vote. There are literally billions of dollars available, and persons lives at stake. The city of Detroit is deteriorating within its residential areas. The so-called inner core, Downtown and Midtown, are thriving due to policies enacted by city government. Its not a factor of private business investment, its related to who is voting.
